Pickled Hot Dogs

2-quart jar & lid
15-18 hot dogs
Jalapeño peppers
2- heaping tablespoons Peppercorn
1- tablespoon Pickling Spice
1- Garlic Clove sliced
1- Onion cut in slices
1- Bay leaf
Ingredients can differ from the size of hot dogs and how many Jalapenos you want, but it’s simple to adjust the measurement. Use a sterilized jar.

In large pan add hot dogs and enough vinegar to cover and bring to boil, continue to boil hot dogs in vinegar for 3 to 5 minutes. Drain off vinegar from hot dogs and add hot dogs to sterilized glass jar. In pan add 3 cups of fresh Vinegar and the remaining ingredients, bring to boil, remove from heat and pour mixture over hot dogs in jar. (Heat & add more Vinegar if needed to cover). Put lid on jar and let cool somewhat and put in refrigerator.
